Sarah Pettyjohn, LCSW

I’m Sarah, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I know that taking the step to come to therapy requires vulnerability and trust on your part, which is why I strive to create a safe and validating space to take this journey in. Every person brings their own unique set of challenges, strengths, and past experiences to therapy. There is no “one size fits all” solution, which is why I incorporate elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, attachment theory, and mindfulness into my work with individuals.

Life is hard. It can leave us running from the past, terrified of the future, and feeling stuck in the overwhelming uncertainty of it all. I would be honored to walk with you as you explore and define your own story.

Get to know me:

I work best with...

Adults who are thoughtful, curious, and willing to look inward—even when that process feels uncomfortable. Many of the people I support feel anxious, stuck, or disconnected and are ready to move beyond coping toward creating a more meaningful, values-aligned life. You don’t need to have everything figured out—just a willingness to show up honestly, take an active role in therapy, and try new ways of thinking, feeling, and relating.

What I’m loving lately:
